We turn our attention again to apologetics, specifically what’s known as presuppositional apologetics. We will be looking at the defense of the faith against atheism. Is it reasonable to be an atheist? Can the atheistic worldview account for the facts of the universe? What answer can the Christian faith give to atheism? How do we respond to atheistic attacks? Let’s explore these things on this episode.

Great questions.
An atheist worldview isn’t suppose to account for the facts of the universe. Our worldview is suppose to be based on what facts we know not the other way around.
Atheism is just a position of denial of a god claim and doesn’t address philosophy.

Thanks for the comment and for checking out the website. I was trying to make the point that the atheistic view cannot account for the facts that we do know. When we assume the premise of atheism, the claim that God does not exist, we find that it leads to contradictions and also does not account for the preconditions of intelligibility, such as the laws of logic. Only by assuming the Christian view can we make sense of the facts that we do know. That is, the facts that we do know should point us back to the Christian faith, since it’s only in terms of that view do they make since.
